Lent.az, citing foreign media, reports that the club's decision to dismiss the Spanish coach was caused by a conversation with the team's management after returning to Spain from the Spanish Super Cup final held in Saudi Arabia.
According to the source, Alonso stated in the "Real" office that he was tired of the current situation and did not like "living under the sword of Damocles." These comments led the management to conclude that such a coach could not help the team overcome the crisis and return to title success.
It is also reported that "Real" management is disappointed that Xabi has not been able to find his own unique style. It should be noted that Alonso played 34 games for the club, recording 24 wins, 6 losses, and 4 draws.
