"Real Madrid" football club has submitted all available evidence to UEFA regarding the incidents that occurred during the Champions League match against "Benfica" in Lisbon.
Idaman.Biz reports that the club has issued a statement on the matter.
"Our club is actively participating in the investigation initiated by UEFA in connection with the unacceptable acts of racism that occurred during that game. Real Madrid expresses its gratitude for the unanimous support and affection shown by everyone in the football world to our player Vinicius Junior. Real Madrid will continue to cooperate with all organizations in eliminating racism, violence, and hatred in sports and society."
It is worth recalling that Vinicius Junior faced racist abuse in the game against "Benfica".
