The goal difference could have been greater in the "Sumgayit" - "Zira" match (2:3) held in the XIX round of the Misli Premier League.
"Report" informs that the head coach of the Baku club, Rashad Sadygov, said this at a press conference after the game.
The specialist stated that both teams displayed a beautiful game:
"I think we witnessed a beautiful game performed by both teams. Both 'Zira' and 'Sumgayit' showed more technical and combinational football. The first half was more successful for us, we were superior to the opponent. Maybe the score difference could have been greater, but we went to the break with a one-goal advantage."
R.Sadygov also touched upon the difficulties in the second half and the reaction of his team:
"The opponent started the second half very actively. In those minutes, we became a little passive and conceded a goal because we did not react properly. But the reaction of my players after the conceded goal was good. We took control of the game again and organized attacks. Although the opponent had dangerous moments from standard situations in the last minutes of the game, we deserved the victory overall. We won a very important victory. I thank my players for the game they showed."
