Idman.biz, referring to "Report", informs that this was stated by Rashad Ayyubov, the coach of the Azerbaijani national football team, at a press conference.
The specialist shared his thoughts on the qualifying match of the 2026 World Cup against the Ukrainian national team: "We conducted our training according to the plan. In a short period of time, our main task is to raise the mood. We will see tomorrow to what extent it worked out. Our main goal is to psychologically uplift the team. The football team is good in terms of quality. We don't think that one player will come out and do something extraordinary. I believe that we have strength and we will see a good game in this regard."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-Ukraine match will take place on September 9 at 20:00 at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium.
