Brazilian forward Raphinha of the Spanish football team "Barcelona" will not leave the team, despite rumors linking him to Saudi Arabian clubs.
Idman.Biz reports that head coach Hansi Flick has taken a firm stance on the 29-year-old footballer's future. The German specialist stated that Raphinha occupies an important place in "Barcelona's" plans.
"Raphinha is staying. He is a key part of our plans. There is nothing about his departure. For me, he can stay here for many years to come," the specialist said.
The Brazilian footballer, speaking about his relationship with Flick, especially appreciated the head coach:
"Hansi is like a father to me."
Raphinha has previously indicated his intention to stay at "Barcelona," despite strong interest from Saudi Arabia. His contract with the Catalan club runs until June 30, 2028.
