Zira captain Qismat Aliyev played his 200th game for the Baku club. Sport24.az reports with reference to the Professional Football League that the 30-year-old midfielder's anniversary coincided with the return match (2:0) of the 1/4 final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup against Sumgayit.
Aliyev, the record holder for the number of games in the settlement club, has scored 15 goals in the team he has played for since the 2020/21 season. He has appeared 166 times in the Premier League, 22 in the national cup, and 12 in European cups, and has scored 13 goals in the championship and 2 in European cups.
It should be noted that Qismat Aliyev's debut for Zira also coincided with a match against Sumgayit. He appeared in the away match (1:2) of the Premier League on October 18, 2020.
