Qarabag's opponents in the UEFA Champions League draw held today have been determined.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani champion will play 8 games in the League stage, 4 away and 4 at home.
The Aghdam club has been drawn against champions of countries like England and Italy - Liverpool and Napoli. In addition, Chelsea, the winner of the recently organized Club World Cup, will also face our team.
As a result of the draw, Qarabag will face Chelsea, Eintracht, Ajax and Copenhagen at home. Qurban Qurbanov's team has already crossed paths with these opponents in European cups. In the 2017/2018 season, when the Aghdam club qualified for the Champions League, they faced Copenhagen in the play-offs and, according to the results of two matches, gained the right to play in the group stage due to the away goal rule (1:0, 1:2).
