The second round of UEFA Champions League matches continues. Sport24.az reports that our representative "Qarabağ" will also appear on the field today in this tournament.
Gurban Gurbanov's team will host the Danish representative "Copenhagen" within the "home walls". The game will start at 20:45.
"Qarabağ" and "Copenhagen" are facing each other for the 5th time in European Cups. For the first time, these teams met in the summer of 1998 - in the competition then called the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, and the Scandinavians won both matches with a big score - 6:0 at home and 4:0 away.
In the matches of the 2017 CL play-off stage, "Qarabağ" was superior. Gurban Gurbanov's team, which won 1:0 in Baku, lost away (1:2), but thanks to the away goal rule at that time, they qualified for the League stage of the Champions League for the first time in history.
