The second round of UEFA Champions League matches continues. Sport24.az reports that our representative "Qarabag" will also be on the field today in this tournament.
Gurban Gurbanov's team will host Danish representative "Copenhagen" within "native walls." The game will start at 20:45.
"Qarabag" and "Copenhagen" are rivals for the 5th time in European cups. The first time these teams met was in the summer of 1998 - in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup competition at the time - and the Scandinavians won both matches with a big score - 6:0 at home, 4:0 away.
In the 2017 Champions League play-off matches, "Qarabag" was superior. Gurban Gurbanov's team, which won 1:0 in Baku, lost away (1:2), but thanks to the away goal rule at that time, they qualified for the League stage of the Champions League for the first time in their history.
