"Leeds United" and "Burnley" have earned the right to compete in the English Premier League next season.
According to QOL.az, the teams achieved this with 2 rounds remaining until the end of the season in the Championship.
"Leeds United" crushed "Stoke City" 6-0 in the 44th round. "Burnley" defeated "Sheffield United" 2-1.
Currently, "Leeds United" is 1st with 94 points in the tournament table, and "Burnley" is 2nd with the same number of points. "Sheffield United" is in 3rd place with 86 points. As a result, it has become clear that "Sheffield United" will not be able to catch up with the teams in the top 2. Thus, "Leeds United" and "Burnley" will compete in the Premier League in the 2025/26 season.
It is worth recalling that "Burnley" was relegated from the Premier League to the Championship at the end of the 2023/2024 season. "Leeds United" left the Premier League at the end of the 2022/2023 season.
