An incident that occurred during a football match in Malatya, Turkey, has gained great appreciation on social media.
İdman.Biz reports that a police officer on duty during the Third League match between "Yeşilyurtspor" and "12 Bingölspor" helped a young child who was freezing in the stands.
In the cold weather conditions, the police officer, seeing that the child's feet were freezing, took off his own socks and put them on him.
It should be noted that although the match ended with a 0:1 defeat for the home team, this humanitarian act at the stadium attracted more attention than the result.
The incident has once again proven that football is not just about scores and results, sometimes the most valuable moments happen off the field.
