An event that occurred during a football match in Malatya, Turkey, has gained great appreciation on social media.
İdman.Biz reports that a police officer on duty at the Third League match between "Yeşilyurtspor" and "12 Bingölspor" helped a young child shivering in the stands.
During the match played in cold weather, the police officer noticed that the child's feet were cold and took off his own socks to put them on the child.
It should be noted that although the match ended with a 0:1 defeat for the home team, this humane act in the stadium attracted more attention than the result.
The event once again proved that football is not just about scores and results, sometimes the most valuable moments happen off the field.
