The incident that occurred during a football match in Malatya, Turkey, has gained great sympathy on social media.
Idman.Biz reports that a police officer on duty during the Third League match between "Yeşilyurtspor" and "12 Bingölspor" helped a young child who was freezing in the stands.
During the match played in cold weather conditions, the police officer took off his own socks and put them on the child after seeing that the child's feet were freezing.
It should be noted that although the match ended with a 0:1 defeat for the home team, this humanitarian behavior at the stadium attracted more attention than the result.
The incident once again proved that football is not just about scores and results; sometimes the most valuable moments happen off the field.
