Barcelona midfielder Pedri has undergone further medical examinations regarding his injury. Sport24.az, citing "AS", reports that the tear in the biceps femoris muscle in his left leg turned out to be more severe than expected, and recovery will take at least six weeks.
Thus, the 22-year-old Spaniard will miss the matches against Elche, Brugge, Celta, Athletic, Chelsea, Alaves, Atletico, and Betis. In total, the midfielder will not be able to help his team in 8 matches. He will also miss the Spanish national team's matches against Georgia and Turkey.
It is noted that Pedri is expected to be ready for the match against Eintracht Frankfurt, which will take place on December 9 as part of the main stage of the Champions League.
