Azerbaijan's U-19 national football team has started its campaign in the qualifying round of the European Championship.
Idman.Biz reports that the team, which is in Group 13, faced the Czech Republic.
The match, held at the Centenary Stadium in Ta' Qali, Malta, ended with a 6:1 victory for the opponent.
Shahismayil Jafarov scored the team's only goal in the 70th minute.
It should be noted that U-19 will clarify relations with Northern Ireland on November 15, and Malta three days later. Both meetings will be held in Ta' Qali, Malta.
