Azerbaijan's U-19 national football team played its first match in the European Championship qualifying round. Sport24.az reports that our national team, which is in group 13, faced the Czech Republic's corresponding age group team in Ta Qali, Malta.
The match, held at the "Centenary" stadium, ended with a 6:1 victory for the Czech Republic. Shahismayil Jafarov scored the goal for our team in the 70th minute.
It should be noted that U-19 will play its next game in the group against Northern Ireland on November 15.
