Our referees safely returned to their homeland

Azerbaijani FIFA referee Aliyar Aghayev and FIFA VAR referee Nijat Ismayilli could not return to Azerbaijan from Kuwait for a while due to the military tension in the Middle East. Sport24.az reports that our referees have safely returned to their homeland today.


The Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) expressed its gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kuwait for their support during the situation.
