Galatasaray's head coach Okan Buruk has made a statement. Sport24.az reports that the specialist spoke about the team's championship goal:
"We want the championship more than anything. The players also desire it. There is a bit of physical fatigue in the team. We had minor injuries, some of the players went out on the field despite having pain. We are trying to recover.
We knew there would be criticism after the loss of points in the last round. We respect them. Sometimes you are praised, sometimes you are criticized. In any case, we are the leader and we will play against our closest follower, Fenerbahçe, at home."
Galatasaray is in the first place with 68 points. Fenerbahçe, in second place, has 66 points.
