Nurlan Novruzov, the new transfer of "Mingachevir", representing the Azerbaijan I League, chose this club because it has championship goals.
The 32-year-old striker said this in an interview with "Report".
He talked about his transfer:
"Before my transfer to the "Mingachevir" team, there were negotiations with two division clubs. But the main thing for me was to play in a team with championship goals. In this regard, our negotiations were positive. I am currently in "Mingachevir" and our goal is clear. We have a difficult and interesting path ahead, and a tense finish at the end. Hopefully, the end of the road will be the championship."
It should be noted that Nurlan Novruzov finished the 2014/2015 season of the Azerbaijan Premier League as a top scorer with 30 goals.
