Azerbaijani footballer Nigar Mirzaliyeva will continue her career in the German championship.
Lent.az reports that the former defender of "Zenit" has moved to the German club "Hamburg". The transfer was officially announced by the press service of "Zenit".
"The blue-white-skies thank Nigar for her contribution to the overall victories and wish her success in her future career!" — says the statement released on the Telegram channel of the Zenit women's team.
Nigar Mirzaliyeva has been playing for Zenit since January 2023. She has a total of 45 games for the club. Together with the team, the footballer became a two-time Russian champion (2023, 2024), won a bronze medal in the Super League (2025) and a two-time winner of the national Super Cup (2023, 2025).
It should be noted that Nigar Mirzaliyeva was born in 2002 in Mingachevir. She is a defender of the Azerbaijani women's national football team.
