"Neftchi" has set a new record in the Azerbaijan championship. Sport24.az reports that, citing the official website of the Professional Football League, the "white-blacks" achieved this by defeating "Kapaz" 5:1 in the X round of the Misli Premier League.
The Baku representative won its first big win in the championship this season.
This is the 32nd season that "Neftchi" has won at least one big win.
The capital club has failed to win by three or more goals only twice - in the 2009/2010 and 2015/2016 seasons. A team winning such victories in 32 different seasons is a new record in the Azerbaijan championships.
