The Audiovisual Council has revoked the platform broadcaster license it issued to "Neftçi Media" LLC for "Neftçi TV," which does not carry out satellite broadcasting. Sport24.az reports that the agency has released this information.
It was reported that the activities of the "Neftçi TV" channel were discussed at the meeting. It was noted that the Audiovisual Council issued several notifications and warnings to "Neftçi Media" LLC regarding the "Neftçi TV" channel, which, in accordance with the platform broadcaster license it received, which does not carry out satellite broadcasting, could not carry out continuous broadcasting directly over the Internet for the last 1 year.
As a result, "Neftçi Media" LLC applied to the Audiovisual Council to revoke the license because it could not broadcast. Taking into account the license holder's application, the Audiovisual Council revoked the platform broadcaster license it issued to "Neftçi Media" LLC for "Neftçi TV," which does not carry out satellite broadcasting.
It should be noted that "Neftçi TV" belonged to the "Neftçi" Football Club.
