"Neftçi" has announced the duration of Vincent Aboubakar's contract. Sport24.az reports that the club's press service has released information about this.
A 1+1 year contract has been signed with the Cameroonian national team striker, who will play in the capital club in a "45" numbered jersey.
Aboubakar, whose last club was "Hatayspor", has also played in the leagues of France, Portugal, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, apart from his home country. He won the Portuguese Championship (2018, 2020), Cup (2020) and Super Cup (2018) with "Porto", and the Turkish Championship (2017, 2021), Cup (2021, 2024) and Super Cup (2024) with "Beşiktaş".
It should be noted that the captain of the Cameroon national team has played 115 games for the national team and scored 45 goals. Aboubakar won the Africa Cup of Nations with the national team in 2017 and was the top scorer of the African Nations League in 2022 with 8 goals.
