"Neftchi" footballer Emil Safarov will undergo surgery.
This was reported to "Report" by the press secretary of the capital's representative, Asef Zeynally.
"Emil is currently not participating in training. Surgery is expected. But the exact time is not yet known," the club official said.
It should be noted that the 22-year-old midfielder was injured in the XXIX round match of the Misli Premier League against "Shamakhi". The midfielder, who was substituted in the 20th minute, was diagnosed with a shoulder problem.
