Neftchi PFC captains - Emin Mahmudov and Emil Balayev have extended their contract terms. According to the new agreement, Mahmudov signed a 1+1 year contract, while Balayev signed a 2-year contract.
Note that since the 2017/18 season, Emin Mahmudov, who has been protecting the team's honor, has played 289 official games in the remaining 9 seasons, scoring 72 goals.
Emil Balayev, a Neftchi graduate, played for the club in the 2012/13-2014/15 and 2023/2024-2025/26 seasons, playing 25 official games.
