"Benfica" does not intend to release head coach Jose Mourinho until May 17. However, after that, the club is ready to agree to his move to "Real Madrid".
Lent.az reports, citing foreign media, that the club has also determined the financial terms for a possible transfer: if Mourinho moves to "Real Madrid", the Lisbon representative will receive 6 million euros in compensation.
According to reports, Mourinho is currently continuing negotiations with the Madrid club. The parties are discussing the possibility of the specialist returning to the capital club.
May 17 is indicated as the key date. It is expected that after that date, negotiations will accelerate and the future of the Portuguese coach will be determined. On that day, "Benfica" will play its last game of the season and will face "Estoril" away. The Lisbon club is currently fighting for a Champions League spot together with "Sporting CP".
