Benfica's head coach Jose Mourinho refused to go to the press studio at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium during the return leg of the Champions League play-off stage against Real (1:2).
Lent.az, citing foreign media, reports that the Portuguese specialist watched the game from the club's bus. Mourinho was unable to lead the team from the technical area in the return match because he received a red card in the first match against Real in Portugal a week earlier.
After the game, Jose Mourinho interacted with the fans. Despite the defeat, he gave autographs to the fans and took pictures with them.
Since Real won the first game with a score of 1:0, they advanced to the 1/8 finals of the Champions League based on the results of the two games. The Madrid club will face Manchester City or Sporting in the next round. The draw will take place on Friday, February 27.
