Former Juventus and Roma striker Mirko Vučinić has been appointed head coach of the Montenegro national team. Sport24.az reports that the official website of the Montenegrin Football Association has released a statement about this.
Vučinić has signed a contract until the end of 2025.
It should be noted that 41-year-old Vučinić defended the honor of the Montenegrin national team from 2007 to 2017. He is the second most prolific player of the national team, having scored 17 goals in 46 appearances. During his football career, he also defended the honor of Lecce, in addition to Roma and Juventus.
