Minifootball tournament winner determined

The minifootball tournament dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, organized jointly by AFFA and Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) within the framework of the UEFA "Hat-Trick" program among the faculties of AzTU, has come to an end. Sport24.az reports that in the match for the third place held at the "Sportster" minifootball grounds, the team of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Telecommunications defeated the team of the Faculty of Transport and Logistics with a score of 5:4 and won the bronze medal.

In the final match, the team of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Chemical Technologies defeated the team of the Faculty of Economics and Management with a score of 5:1 and became the winner of the tournament.

The winning team in the competition was awarded a cup by AFFA, and the first 3 places were awarded with appropriate medals. In the tournament, Seymur Hajiyev, a player of the Economics and Management team, was awarded the "Best Player" award, and Farid Mikayilov, a player of the Metallurgy and Chemical Technologies team, was awarded the "Best Goalkeeper" nomination.

The cup to the winning team was presented jointly by Farrukh Ismayilov, Head of the Mass Football Department of AFFA, and Rashad Aliyev, Vice-Rector for Financial and Economic Affairs of AzTU.
