A minifootball tournament among schoolchildren was held in Ganja with the joint organization of AFFA and the Ministry of Science and Education, with the support of UEFA.

It was reported that the main goal of the competition, organized within the framework of the "Football Lesson in Schools" project, was to promote a healthy lifestyle among schoolchildren, increase the mass character of football and increase students' interest in sports.
The final stage of the tournament took place on the minifootball field located in Ganja. In the final match, the team of secondary school No. 21 defeated the team of the Gymnasium with a bias towards Foreign Languages and became the champion.
The winning team was awarded a cup and gold medals. The teams that took second and third places were awarded silver and bronze medals, respectively. In addition, players who distinguished themselves during the tournament received special awards in various nominations.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Farrukh Ismayilov, head of the AFFA Mass Football Department, emphasized the importance of the project in terms of developing football among schoolchildren and involving children in sports.
It should be noted that the "Football Lesson in Schools" project is implemented in various regions of the country with the support of UEFA, and within the framework of the project, students are aimed at more actively participating in football activities, as well as developing their social skills through sports.
