Under Carrick's leadership, the team won two victories in January, defeating Arsenal (3:2) and Manchester City (2:0). These teams are in first and second place in the league table, respectively.
The 44-year-old Carrick began managing Manchester United on January 13.
It should be noted that as a Manchester United player, Michael Carrick has won five Premier League titles, the Champions League, the Europa League, and the Club World Cup.
