Lazio's head coach Maurizio Sarri has finally announced that he has quit smoking.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the Lazio coach had previously confessed that at the peak of his addiction he smoked more than 20,000 cigarettes a year - 60 a day!
"I smoke 60 cigarettes a day, which is probably a bit too much. I don't feel the need to smoke so much during matches, but I really need to after matches."

Interestingly, the football world has been understanding of Sarri's habit. During a Europa League match against Leipzig in Germany, a special smoking room was prepared for him in the dressing room.
The situation was difficult at Chelsea - the strict ban on smoking forced Sarri to go without cigarettes not only during matches, but also after matches. Chelsea promised to prepare a smoking room for him at Stamford Bridge, but the Italian had to give up cigarettes at other stadiums.
