It is reported that the Turkish club Fenerbahçe has made a record transfer offer for the French international and Lazio midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.
Idman.Biz reports that, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Fenerbahçe has reached an agreement with Lazio on a transfer fee of 30 million euros in total (30 million AZN), including 28 million euros + 2 million euros in bonuses.
If this transfer takes place, Guendouzi will become the most expensive football player in Fenerbahçe's history and will break the club record.
According to reports, the player is expected to travel to Istanbul after Lazio's away match against Verona in the Italian Serie A on January 11.
Matteo Guendouzi started his football career at the academy of the French club PSG. He later played for Lorient, Arsenal of England, Hertha Berlin of Germany, and Lazio of Italy, where he currently plays.
The 26-year-old midfielder has made 16 appearances for Lazio this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
