Qarabağ football club midfielder Marko Jankovic will be out for approximately six weeks.
This was announced to Lent.az by the head of the club's press service, Anar Hajiyev.
According to him, the footballer's injury was initially assessed as a muscle spasm:
"Thus, this possibility was considered in the game with Benfica as well. However, the MRI examination revealed that the injury was more serious. As a result of the examination, a diagnosis of quadriceps strain was made. It will take approximately six weeks for Marko to fully recover and join the team."
It should be reminded that Marko Jankovic was injured in the 77th minute of the match with Benfica and left the game prematurely. The match ended with a 3:2 victory for Qarabag.
