Granada goalkeeper Luka Zidane has officially changed his sporting nationality.
Idman.biz reports with reference to the official website of FIFA that he will now wear the uniform of the Algerian national team.
Since the beginning of the season, Luka Zidane has played 4 games for Granada and conceded 10 goals. Since he has not played for the French national team, he was entitled to change his football nationality and will continue his international career with the Algerian national team.
It should be noted that Luka is the son of the legendary midfielder Zinedine Zidane. Like his father, he also has both French and Algerian citizenship. Zidane's parents moved from Algeria to France in 1953.
