The Croatian national football team has announced its squad for the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports, citing foreign media, that the list includes 26 main players and seven reserve players. One of the notable aspects of the squad is the inclusion of Milan's 40-year-old midfielder, Luka Modrić.
The experienced footballer previously participated in the World Cups held in 2006, 2014, 2018, and 2022. The Croatian national team advanced to the final in 2018, losing to France 2:4 in the decisive match held at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
In the WC-2026, the Croatian national team will face England, Panama, and Ghana in the group stage.
