"Flamengo" announced on its official website the transfer of 28-year-old midfielder Lucas Paqueta from West Ham.
Idman.Biz reports that his contract is valid until the end of 2030, and he will wear the number 20 jersey for the "red and blacks".
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, "Flamengo" paid a record amount of 42 million euros in Brazil for Paqueta.
Paqueta is a graduate of Flamengo's youth system. In 2019, the midfielder moved from Flamengo to Milan. He has been playing for West Ham since the summer of 2022.
