Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi has commented on his decision to extend his contract with the US representative. Sport24.az reports that the star footballer made a statement to the club's press service about this:
"I am very happy to stay here and continue this project. This has become not only a dream, but also a beautiful reality. I have been very happy since I came to Miami. That's why I enjoy playing here.
We are all looking forward to finally playing at Miami "Freedom Park" (new stadium). We are looking forward to the completion of construction, seeing everything from the inside and the fans enjoying the games. Playing in such a magnificent stadium will be something special."
It should be noted that Messi became the top scorer of the season by scoring 29 goals last season. He also stood out with 19 assists.
