Qarabağ's footballer Leandro Andrade has scored his 40th goal in the Premier League. Sport24.az reports with reference to the official website of the Professional Football League that the Portuguese midfielder's jubilee goal coincided with his 127th match.
He scored a double in the XXIII round of the Misli Premier League against Araz-Nakhchivan (6:0). Leandro's first goal was a jubilee one. By distinguishing himself a second time, he brought his performance in the Azerbaijani championships to 41.
Andrade, who debuted in the Premier League in the 2021/2022 season and only played for Qarabağ, entered the history of the tournament as the 70th player to score 40 or more goals. The midfielder shares the spot with Samir A. Mammadov, Fazil Asadov, Leandro Gomes, and Bagali Dabo, who have scored 41 goals each.
