Barcelona president Joan Laporta has commented on the flooding of some areas of the Camp Nou stadium during the La Liga match against Oviedo (3:0).
Idman.Biz reports that the water particularly flooded the press sector. It was the most vulnerable area because there was no proper roof to protect it.
"We expected to get wet if it rained, as the roof is not yet finished. I thought we'd get wet like everyone else. The rain surprised us all. I wasn't planning on bringing an umbrella.
The stadium is still under construction. We will fix everything that needs to be repaired.
When I come here every day, I see something new being done. Work on the third floor, interior decoration is also going well. Everything is on schedule," said Joan Laporta.
