Barcelona president Joan Laporta commented on the flooding of some areas of the Camp Nou stadium during the La Liga match against Oviedo (3:0).
Idman.Biz reports that the water especially flooded the press sector. It was the most vulnerable area because it did not have the necessary roof covering to protect it.
"We expected that if it rained, we would get wet because the roof is not finished yet. I thought we would get wet like everyone else. The rain surprised us all. I wasn't planning on bringing an umbrella.
The stadium is still being built. We will fix everything that needs to be repaired.
Every day when I come here, we see that something new has been done. Work on the third floor, interior decoration is also going well. Everything is going according to plan," said Joan Laporta.
