Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal is expected to be fit for Spain's first match at the 2026 World Cup. Sport24.az reports this, citing The Touchline.
As a reminder, the footballer was injured in the 33rd round of La Liga in the match against Celta (0:1). Yamal was diagnosed with a hamstring tear.
It is reported that Yamal's injury recovery is progressing better than expected.
It should be noted that Spain will play its first match at the 2026 World Cup against Cape Verde. The other opponents of the Spaniards in Group H will be Uruguay and Saudi Arabia.
