"The first half was very emotional, 'Gladbach' fought for every ball. They often neutralized our attackers. Despite the red card, we felt they were doing their best - the fans were happy in many moments. We remained calm and tried to control our emotions. In the second half, we maintained the tempo and played a lot of inter-field games. At certain moments you have to take advantage of your chances and we did that," Kompany said on the official website of the Munich club.
