Former midfielder of the Ukrainian national team, Dmytro Khomchenovskyi, shared his expectations about the Ukraine-Azerbaijan match, which will be held as part of the IV round of the 2026 World Cup qualifying stage.
Idman.biz reports that he stated that the game against Azerbaijan will not be easy.
According to Khomchenovskyi, the Azerbaijani national team already feels that they can score points: "That's why the game will not be easy. It is important to maintain team spirit, use speed correctly, shoot from outside the penalty area and win duels - in my opinion, these will be the keys to victory."
It should be noted that the match will be held on October 13 in Krakow.
