"Karvan-Yevlax" did not deserve to lose in the match against "Turan Tovuz".
"Report" reports that the team's head coach Azer Hashimov said this at a press conference.
The specialist shared his thoughts on the match they lost (1:2) in the VIII round of the Misli Premier League:
"We had 4 days to prepare for the game. When we were ahead in the score, the opponent had no scoring opportunities. Such things happen in football. Sometimes you play well, but you lose. It is gratifying that our captain Araz Abdullayev came to the field today. I don't like making excuses. We are back in the Premier League after 14 years."
A. Hashimov said that there will be many matches ahead:
"We do our job honestly and with dignity, we try to do our job according to the opportunities we have. Today the team played resilient football. I thank them. We lost even though we did not deserve to lose. We will try to do better. Individual qualities have their say. The coach cannot go out on the field and do something in place of the player. We will do our best to keep "Karvan-Yevlax" in the Premier League."
