A new council – "Ganja Football Legends" – has been established under the "Kapaz" Professional Football Club.

The event was attended by Ruslan Mammadov, head of infrastructure of "Kapaz" PFK, selection coach Ali Rahimov, head coach of the team Azer Bagirov, assistant coach Zaur Asadov, as well as former football players who left a deep mark on Ganja football.
The meeting participants first commemorated the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and independence of our country, as well as the deceased football players, with a minute of silence.
Then, the head of the club's infrastructure, Ruslan Mammadov, spoke and provided information about the purpose of establishing the council. He stated that the main goal of the council is to preserve the historical heritage of Ganja football and strengthen the connection between experienced football players and the younger generation.
R. Mammadov also announced the slogan of the council - "Legends do not remain in the past – they build the future."
He nominated Ali Rahimov for the post of chairman of the council. The participants supported the proposal, and Ali Rahimov was elected chairman of the "Ganja Football Legends" council. Expressing his gratitude for the trust, Ali Rahimov spoke about the future plans of the council, emphasizing the importance of joint activities in the development of Ganja football.
At the end of the event, former football players voiced their opinions and shared their suggestions and comments. A souvenir photo was taken with the meeting participants.
