Former Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp could be a suitable candidate to lead Real Madrid. This was reported by insider Fabrizio Romano, Sport24.az reports.
According to the source, Klopp is highly respected at the Royal Club. The president of the Spanish club, Florentino Perez, highly appreciates his work and has always supported the idea of bringing the German specialist to Madrid.
It is emphasized that Perez also has a positive opinion about Zinedine Zidane, but the latter has already agreed to move to the "helm" of the French national team.
It should be noted that Real Madrid announced yesterday the resignation of Xabi Alonso and the appointment of Alvaro Arbeloa as the new head coach. The Spanish specialist had been leading the team since the summer of 2025. Under Alonso's leadership, Real Madrid played 34 games in all competitions, won 24, drew 4 and lost 6 times.
