"I wanted to try myself in a Turkish club. That's why I chose Gaziantep." These words were said by Joshguna Aliyeva, a football player of the Azerbaijani women's national team, who was transferred from Neftchi to Turkish representative Gaziantep, in her statement to Sport24.az.
The 23-year-old midfielder shared her thoughts on her transfer to the new team:
"The team has a high chance of becoming the champion in the League. I had no offers from other clubs. The Turkish club contacted me, and I positively evaluated the offer. I have lived the life of a legionnaire in this country before. I will not have a problem adapting to the championship. Therefore, making a choice was not so difficult. I will try to help the new team achieve its goals. I also want to experience the joy of championship with the team."
It should be noted that Joshguna Aliyeva, who last played for Neftchi, also wore the uniforms of Karadeniz Ereğli Belediyespor and Keçiburnuspor in the brother country during her career.
