Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez will continue his career with the US team Minnesota United.
"Report" reports with reference to the press service of the club that the football player has joined the team as a free agent.
The contract signed with the 34-year-old player is valid until June 2026. The agreement also includes an extension clause until December of that year.
James Rodriguez's last club was Mexico's Leon. He played for this club from January 2025. During his career, Rodriguez played for the Colombian Envigado, Argentinian Banfield, Portuguese Porto, French Monaco, Spanish Real, German Bavaria, English Everton, Qatari Al-Rayyan, Greek Olympiacos, Brazilian Sao Paulo and Spanish Rayo Vallecano clubs.
The experienced midfielder has been a champion of Argentina, Portugal, Spain and Germany. He won the UEFA Champions League twice with Real.
As a member of the Colombian national team, James Rodriguez was the top scorer of the 2014 World Cup and the best player of the 2024 Copa America.
