"Inter" was awarded the trophy as the champion of the 2025/2026 season of the Italian Serie A.
Idman.Biz reports that the Milan club received the trophy after the 37th round match against "Verona".
The match, which took place at the "Giuseppe Meazza" stadium, ended in a 1:1 draw.
The score was opened in the 47th minute. "Verona" defender Andrias Edmundsson sent the ball into his own net, putting "Inter" ahead. The guests, however, escaped defeat with a goal by Kiron Bouin in the 90+1st minute.
Nevertheless, the result did not prevent "Inter" from celebrating their championship. The Milan representative had previously secured the gold medals in Serie A ahead of schedule.
Currently, "Inter" is the leader of the tournament table with 86 points. The team is 14 points ahead of its closest follower, "Napoli".
